Quality Assurance Program

GRS utilizes a continuous methodology that focuses on the evaluation of processes, products and services to ensure timely and accurate delivery of contract requirements. Evaluation results are presented in audit reports and addressed to ensure compliance with government needs. GRS’ quality control process uses, but is not limited to: Product inspection and test, configuration management, peer review, supervisory review, audits, corrective action plans and reports, and other techniques. Each procedure may involve one or more individuals or groups of individuals based on the needs of the work activity. GRS documentation includes, but is not limited to, the following: quality plans and policies, process documents, inspection reports, procedures/work instructions, records/artifacts, as well as incorporation of feedback/lessons learned.

GRS utilizes quality control mechanisms at multiple levels of project oversight to provide a layered approach that reinforces quality standards and generates higher quality results. At the Program level, GRS corporate leaders maintain overall accountability for contract performance. As a small firm, our leaders are able to meet weekly with individual project managers to review quality and discuss potential issues. If issues arise, they work collaboratively with the project manager to address issues. Further, these leaders meet quarterly with government technical leads and COR to review performance and discuss quality. Finally, Program Managers monitor quality delivery by performing spot checks on specific products to ensure they meet internal and external standards.

GRS’ frontline leaders for quality control are individual project managers. These individuals develop and maintain project Quality Control Plans (QCP), establish production quality control processes and measures, conduct daily reviews of individual performance to ensure compliance with contractual specifications. Project Managers conduct individual product-level quality reviews of all products, as well as implementing, measuring and reporting client-driven and company-generated performance measures. Further, they conduct quality audits on periodic basis to ensure compliance. Should any quality issues arise, our project managers communicate these issues to the VP/Program Manager and develop mitigation plans/reports to address any deficiencies.
