We have about 90,000 employees, of whom 60 percent support the U.S. Government. Our management is committed to support this program by providing ample corporate resources to the success of the EPA contract.

CSC has extensive experience in the adjudication of background investigations, having provided adjudication support to the Department of the Navy Central Adjudication Facility (DONCAF) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on previous contracts. We are currently providing adjudication support to the Department of the Air Force Central Adjudication Facility (AFCAF) and the U.S. Marshals Service. We also provide background investigation support to the U.S. Government.

CSC is well known for the quality of our adjudications support. Our contracts with TSA and DONCAF resulted in no returned investigations. CSC received a Letter of Commendation from TSA for successfully completing more than 170,000 actions, including approximately 25,000 Access National Agency Check and Inquiries (ANACI) cases and 25,000 pre-employment investigations. For DONCAF, we helped reduce a backlog of over 100,000 investigations in one year.

Our current program support with AFCAF and the U.S. Marshals Service has resulted in no returned investigations to date. We expect to complete summaries and recommendations on 10,200 complex issue cases in the first contract year with AFCAF. AFCAF has indicated they will provide CSC another 10,200 cases for adjudication during Fiscal Year 2005.  The U.S. Marshals Service has indicated that it wishes to retain CSC’s services subject to availability of funding.
